A Taste of New Music

Featuring: The Deadline Shakes, MY.COSMO feat. Paula and Some Desperate Glory.

Sweeten The Deal is the debut release from The Deadline Shakes. They are a Glasgow based band who have played only a handful of gigs. There are no reviews. But don’t let that put you off. Because from first listen what is immediately apparent is that this band have an abundant gift for melody. The download single is out 5th November.

Sweetness oh sweetness…we need that these days! Who can live without it? This song is like a nice sunshine after the rain.

Ok I like the Enyaesque intro…da bounce!.. It gives me images of dance floor burning..and of course Paula. The voice of Paula reminds me of early Debbie Harry ..nice to hear this British artist sing in German. I look forward for more collab work with Sascha. He is such an awesome German artist and his music is like a chocolate bar laced with honey. Just the right combination of caffeine and nutritious cookies of melodies. Nom nom nom! What can I say? They really compliment each other musically!

Some Desperate Glory is a Synthpop and Electro band out of San Francisco, California. Our favorite bands are Depeche Mode, Erasure, and the Pet Shop Boys. That’s pretty obvious from our music. We release our material for free download at: http://somedesperateglory.bandcamp.com

Ok I feel like a model. No no I am not pouting. It’s just that this song is so elegant and poised. The vocals are amazing. The synths have strong hooks but not too overpowering. It is one song you can grove to. You should check out more tracks from this artist. I assure you…you will get hooked.
