Layne Greene and I love the songs of Gregory Alan Isakov. He is a singer-songwriter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he emigrated to the United States as a child.

Second Chances is one of my favorite tracks from his 2013 album The Weatherman. And the title itself reflects the moods of the songs as they vary is style and even temperament. Greene made a great cover of this wonderful song showcasing his new love: Playing the slide guitar. I am sure Isakov will be flattered when he hears this cover.
